Tech from College of Technology, GBPUA & T Pantnager, Uttarakhand, 1992-1999; Ph. D from Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering, IIT Kharagpur, 2007-2010.

Principal Scientist, ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal, 2016 to date.

Scientist, ICAR-Vivekananda Institute of Hill Agriculture, Almora, Uttarakhand, 2001-11; Senior Scientist, ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal, 2011-16.

Research Areas: Threshing, Dehulling and utilization of minor millets, Development of small tools and equipment for hills and conservation agriculture.
