7. Particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by, the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof

The prescribed guidelines/norms/rules/procedures are followed out in carrying out various activities of the Academy. The recommendations of the Committees constituted as per the Bye-laws are submitted to the Executive Council of the Academy. The issues of general in nature are discussed by the Office-bearers and recommendations are submitted to Executive Council for consideration. The Executive Council and Governing Body are the highest decision making bodies of the Academy.

The Academy in consultation with NARS System comprising ICAR Insitutes/SAUs/ other scietific organizations like CSIR, DBT, NGOs bring out Policy Papers on various thematic areas of national interest in the field of agricultural science for use by the stakeholders and policymakers. So far the Academy has brought out 84 Policy Papers for the use of stakeholders and policymakers. The Academy also organizes Agriculture Science Congress once in two years which has very wide participation including farmers. Besides the Academy has also organized four International Congresses/Conferences. It brings out quarterly NAAS Newsletter and has also brought out other publications like Agriculture Cannot Wait; State of Indian Agriculture; Degraded and Waste Lands of the India; State of Indian Agriculture - The Indo Gangetic Plain
